Breez SDK Enables Bitcoin-to-Stablecoin Payments on 30+ Chains
Breez's new SDK feature lets developers route Bitcoin payments to recipients as USDC or USDT across more than 30 blockchains, no stablecoin holdings required.
Breez has launched a new software development kit feature that allows developers to convert Bitcoin payments into stablecoin transfers across more than 30 blockchains, the company announced. The integration supports both USDC and USDT, two of the most widely used dollar-pegged stablecoins in the crypto ecosystem.
The core innovation removes a significant friction point in cross-asset crypto payments: senders can spend directly from their Bitcoin balances without ever needing to acquire or hold stablecoins themselves. Recipients, meanwhile, receive funds in USDC or USDT, sidestepping Bitcoin's price volatility at the point of settlement.

By targeting developers through an SDK, Breez is positioning the technology as infrastructure rather than a consumer product — a strategy that could accelerate adoption by embedding the capability into wallets, exchanges, and payment apps already in use. The breadth of supported blockchains signals an intent to reach users across fragmented crypto networks rather than locking the feature to a single chain.
The move comes as demand grows for Bitcoin-native payment solutions that bridge the gap between BTC holders and the stablecoin economy, which has become a dominant medium of exchange in decentralized finance and cross-border remittances. Enabling seamless conversion at the developer layer could meaningfully expand the practical utility of Bitcoin for everyday transactions.
